CONTINÚA LA ACCIÓN JUDICIAL POR LA MATANZA DE PAYA

Tras ocho meses de exhaustivas investigaciones, la Procuraduría General de la República tiene listo el expediente acusatorio sobre el sonado caso de Paya, en que siete hombres fueron ejecutados por un cargamento de 1,200 kilos de cocaína cuyo destino aún se ignora.

La querella será depositada hoy en el Distrito Judicial de Peravia por 12 fiscales especiales. Anoche se procedía en la Procuraduría a la revisión final del expediente.

El procurador general de la República, doctor Radhamés Jiménez, sostuvo una reunión con los fiscales que comenzó a las 6:50 de la tarde y se extendió hasta cerca de la medianoche.

La principal organización empresarial del país, el Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (Conep) reclamó ayer del gobierno hacer los esfuerzos necesarios para superar la contracción en que se encuentra la economía, y dinamizarla. La entidad expresa que la disminución de las recaudaciones de ITBIS durante el primer trimestre evidencia la contracción. Expresa que “ante esta ostensible realidad, en el Conep consideramos imperativo que el Gobierno asuma con firmeza y voluntad viabilizar lo antes posible la inversión privada...”
